Some things just change your life.

So I've already hinted at this but wanted to ask and make sure it was ok.  So here we go!

There was a awesome family that moved into our ward when I was a teenager.  One of the girls was my sisters age so I didn't know her as well, but crazy things happen and over the last few years I've been a faithful follower of her blog.

Why?  Because I needed it.

I actually heard about it from my mom and searched till I found it.  I needed it and it helped me.  I will be forever grateful to her for it.  Now her whole blog lifted and carried me at a time when I needed it but just after starting this blog (which I started to help me do those small, hard things you do everyday as a mom of very young people all while trying to stay sane) she wrote a post that I needed. I really needed it and didn't know how badly I needed it!  Although I tried to do the drops of awesome it just slipped out of my mental reach with everything that was going on and disappeared from my thoughts until recently.

Although I didn't realize it at the time, it was almost exactly what I was trying to do with this blog and I needed help doing it.  (If you haven't read it by now go do it! :))  My blog has been in the back of my mind since I started it and didn't really keep it up well with the whole being pregnant, low iron, and then almost dying thing... yea... that kinda put a damper on the whole posting daily thing.  The whole time I kept beating myself up for not keeping up with the blog and everything else for that matter.

Not too long ago I heard about her writing the book base on her blog post!  So exciting!   And then it became a reality.  When she asked for helpers to spread the word, I offered to help in any way I could.  I just didn't realize how much it would help me.

In order to help spread the word we got a digital copy of the book to read through and start putting Drops of Awesome into our own buckets as we help spread the word.  So I opened it up that night and read it all the way through.

Some things just change your life.  And this is one of them for me.

I'm probably going to talk about drops of awesome on a regular basis now because it is changing the way I think for the better!  I hope it can help change many others too because I'm sure I'm not the only one.  I will definitely be spreading the word and helping others to stop, rethink things and feel awesome too!  Now I just need to figure out how to get a physical copy once it's available!
